Bombast- Ornament Exhibition

River Jade is exhibiting in Bombast's debut exhibition ORNAMENT...come along to the opening if you're free!

Bombast presents it's debut exhibition ORNAMENT.

This exhibition focuses on the work of six London based artists: Sean Lavelle, Owen Lacey, River Jade, Barnaby Smith, Joss Heierli, Laura O'Neill alongside a reading from Matthias “Wolf Boy” Connor.

ORNAMENT adopts the desires and failures of a contemporary living environment through painting, sculpture, installation and performance. Working in distinctly different ways, the six artists come together to create a show-room type space that seeks to question the superfluous search for aesthetic acceptance. From decorative imagery to suffering pets ORNAMENT provides it’s audience with an awkward familiarity of the “now”.

Pen On Paper

Pen On Paper is the partnership of Brighton Print Collective member Millie Popovic and illustrator Lucy Kirk.

" POP was established because of a mutual love of lidos, partially dressed swimmers and hay barns.

With this as our inspiration, we design simple, tactile and modern products produced and manufactured in the United Kingdom. From our head offices on a Nottinghamshire farm, our notebooks might be closer to a cow than a commuter, but we can deliver straight to your door."
